The 13 Principles

1. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is the Creator and Guide of all created beings, and that He alone has made, does make, and will make all things. "I am G‑d your G‑d"2—Exodus 20:2 - We agree with this statement as Rav Shaul talmid of Rabneienu Gamaliel affirms it multiple times, interestingly in this statement- the G-d who made the world and everything in being L-rd of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything. since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. For in him we live and move and have our being.

2. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is One and Alone; that there is no oneness in any way like Him; and that He alone is our G‑d—was, is and will be. : "Hear O Israel, G‑d is our G‑d, G‑d is One"—Deuteronomy 6:4. As Rav Yeshua Yosef himself states? And Rav Yeshua Yosef hamoshiach answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The L-rd our G-d is one: And thou shalt love the L-rd thy G-d with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

3. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is incorporeal; that He is free from all anthropomorphic properties; and that He has no likeness at all. : "You did not see any image on the day that G‑d spoke to you at Horeb [Sinai]."—Deuteronomy 4:15. As Rav Yochanan HaCohen states No man hath seen G-d at any time. If a man say, I love G-d, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love G-d whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth G-d love his brother also. No man hath seen G-d at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. and again here we see an affirmation of G-d's incorporeality-Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise G-d, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

4. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is the first and the last. : "[The heavens] are the abode for the G‑d who precedes all"—Deuteronomy 33:27. and Rav Yochanan HaCohen states here-"I am the Aleph and the Tav," says the L-rd G-d, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

5. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, is the only one to whom it is proper to pray, and that it is inappropriate to pray to anyone else.: "Lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven . . . and be drawn away to prostrate yourselves before them and worship them"—Deuteronomy 4:19 and Rav Yeshua Yosef HaMoshiach states here- Father, sanctified be Your Name,Your kingdom come.Give us each day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation. and if fact we see here the need to Daven Shacharis, Mincha, and Maariv- Rav Yochanan HaCohen and Rav Kefa Bar Yonah- here were going up to the Temple at the ninth hour, the time of prayer.

6. I believe with complete faith that all the words of the prophets are true. : "G‑d will raise up a prophet from among you… and you shall hearken to him"—Deuteronomy 18:15. - and Here Rav Yeshua Yosef HaMoshiach states- Then Yeshua spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, saying, “The Torah scholars and Pharisees sit on the seat of Moses. So whatever they tell you, do and observe. But don’t do what they do; for what they say, they do not do. This was at the time of the Taanamim. then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures. Rabbienu Gamaliel himself states here of the followers of Rav Yeshua Yosef's Chassidim- Now when they heard this, they became enraged and wanted to kill them. But a certain Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Torah respected by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and gave orders to put the men outside for a little while. Then he said to them, “Men of Israel, be careful what you are about to do with these men. For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody; and a number of men, maybe four hundred, joined up with him. He was killed, and all who followed him were scattered and came to nothing. After this fellow, Judah the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and got people to follow him. He also perished, and all who followed him were scattered. So now I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or undertaking is of men, it will come to an end; but if it is of God, you will not be able to stop them. You might even be found fighting against God.” They took his advice, called in the emissaries, flogged them, ordered them not to continue speaking in the name of Yeshua, and let them go.

7. I believe with complete faith that the prophecy of Moses our teacher, peace unto him, was true; and that he was the father of the prophets, both of those who preceded and of those who followed him.: "G‑d would speak to Moses face to face"—Exodus 33:11; "Mouth to mouth, I speak to him"—Numbers 12:8.46.

8. I believe with complete faith that the whole Torah which we now possess was given to Moses, our teacher, peace unto him.: "With this you shall know that G‑d sent me to do all these deeds, for I did not devise them myself"—Numbers 16:28. Rav Yeshua HaMoshiach states here- Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. Amen, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away from the Torah until all things come to pass. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees and Torah scholars, you shall never enter the kingdom of heaven!

9. I believe with complete faith that this Torah will not be changed, and that there will be no other Torah given by the Creator, blessed be His name.: "You shall not add to it, not subtract from it"—Deuteronomy 13:1.

10. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, knows all the deeds and thoughts of human beings, as it is said, "It is He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who perceives all their actions." (in addition to Psalms 33:15 quoted in the actual text): "Who is great in counsel and mighty in carrying it out, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of mankind"—Jeremiah 32:19; "G‑d saw that the evil of man on earth was very great"—Genesis 6:5. Rav Shaul confirms this here- And God, who knows the heart, testified to them by giving them the Ruach ha-Kodesh—just as He also did for us.

11. I believe with complete faith that the Creator, blessed be His name, rewards those who observe His commandments, and punishes those who transgress His commandments.: "And G‑d said to Moses: 'Whoever has sinned against Me, him I will erase from My book!'"—Exodus 32:33. And Rav Yochanan HaCohen states here- Then I saw a great white throne, and the One seated on it. The earth and heaven fled from His presence, but no place was found for them. And I saw the dead—the great and the small—standing before the throne. The books were opened, and another book was opened—the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what was written in the books, according to their deeds. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Sheol gave up the dead in them. Then they were each judged, each one of them, according to their deeds. Then death and Sheol were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

12. I believe with complete faith in the coming of Moshiach, and although he may tarry, nevertheless, I wait every day for him to come.: "G‑d will restore your fortunes, have mercy on you, and gather you"—Deuteronomy 30:3. according to our mesorah- And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this judgment, so also Messiah, was offered once to bear the sins of many. He will appear a second time, apart from sin, to those eagerly awaiting Him for salvation.

13. I believe with complete faith that there will be resurrection of the dead at the time when it will be the will of the Creator, blessed be His name and exalted be His remembrance forever and ever. "Many who sleep in the dust shall awaken, some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting shame and reproach"—Daniel 12:2. and Yochanan HaCohen states here- The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. How fortunate and holy is the one who has a share in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no authority, but they shall be kohanim of God and the Messiah, and they shall reign with Him for a thousand years.
